Synopsis:
YUVAN YUVATHI
The story is set on the backdrop of Chennai and here lives Kathirvel (bharath), a software engineer along with his room mate Sakkarai (santhanam). Kathir wants to settle in the US and wants to project himself as a city bred youth. However, his father Sevaka Pandian (sampath raj) who is the chief of his village and hates inter-caste or love marriages. Meanwhile, Kathir comes across Nisha (rima) who is also keen on going to the USA. She loses her passport and Kathir begins to help her. In this process, he falls in love with Nisha. The story takes a turn when Sevaka Pandian fixes Kathir's marriage with another girl and Nisha reveals that she is going to the USA to get married after getting her visa. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
